New Release: BURNING FOR HER KISS by Sherri Hayes

Sherri Hayes has just released her newest erotic romance, Burning for Her Kiss, book one in the new Serpent's Kiss series.

Beth Davenport has no interest in getting involved with another man for the foreseeable future. To say her last relationship ended in disaster would be a colossal understatement. She’s been burned before and Beth doesn’t think she can survive having her heart crushed again. Drew, however, won’t take no for an answer. He wants a relationship and is determined to chip away at her defenses until she relents. Will she give him a chance, or did her ex leave her with scars too deep to heal?

I asked her a couple of questions to help introduce us to Beth.

What’s the one quality in your heroine that you envy, and the one flaw in her personality you think she needs to work on?


Sherri: I envy Beth’s baking skills. While I’m not horrible in the kitchen, I certainly don’t have her talent. She can make pastries from scratch that melt in your mouth. I’m pretty much limited to what comes from a box.

The biggest flaw in Beth’s personality is that she tends to use sex in order to avoid dealing with things she can’t always control. We all have coping mechanisms. Some people run or use another form of exercise. Others eat junk food or play music. Being a Femdom, Beth knows what her role is in the sexual part of her relationships. She doesn’t have to guess or try and figure it out.
