So, I'm writing this post-apocalyptic novel, and the heroine has to leave her home, likely never to return, and it makes me wonder ...
What would you take with you if you had to leave? Not supplies; I mean items of sentimental value. Mind you, space and weight would really be an issue.
Pictures, definitely.
ReplyDeleteI want to say music however it would be hard to say whether the device I would be using, to play the music, would be able to work where I am going.
ReplyDeleteSo, if music isn't a logical choice, I'd have to go with pictures. Mostly pictures of my family but I'd slip a few in of Rob if I could, too. Just kidding. Kind of. ;)
This is a tough question - and one I have given more than just a passing thought to since I am a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre. The zippo that my grandfather gave to my husband - both useful and sentimental. And of course a picture of two as well.
